A Partnership of Youth & Older Adults
DRMI Geeks & Gramps Program is a member program of the 2024-2025 Tallahassee/Leon County Community Human Service Partnership (CSHP)
DRMI is actively recruiting:
* Youth ages 8-18 interested in learning technology skills including virtual reality, artificial intelligence
* Youth wanting to volunteer in their community teaching older adults digital and internet integrity, and cybersecurity.
* Youth are designated as: Navigators (ages 8-12), Demonstrators (ages 13-16), Facilitators (ages 17-18)
* DRMI's Geeks & Gramps (grandparents) Program is a secular (non-religious) program that provides FREE technology support and training for older adults facilitated by youth ages 8-18.
* Older adults interested in serving as mentors for youth and sharing their knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) via virtual platforms called Senior Moments.
