HEALTH, WEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF TALLAHASSEE NEIGHBORHOODS!

DRMI Frenchtown Renaissance & Street Corner Giveaway

The word "renaissance" means: rebirth or renewal, and this event is designed to do just that!
2025 FRENCHTOWN RENAISSANCE & STREET CORNER GIVEAWAY - OCTOBER 25, 2025 FROM 12-4 PM

💞Heartfelt Thanks for Your Support of the 3rd Frenchtown Renaissance & 4th Street Corner Giveaway

On behalf of the Board of Directors and everyone at Divine Revelations Ministries, Inc. (DRMI), we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support of our 3rd Frenchtown Renaissance and 4th Street Corner Giveaway events on October 12, 2024.

Thanks to your contribution and dedication, the event was a great success for yet another year! Not including vendors and volunteers, over 70 community residents participated, and we were thrilled to have 14 diverse and outstanding organizations (thank you so much); join us at the Carter Howell Strong Park in the historic neighborhood of Frenchtown to share their invaluable information and resources.  A special KUDOS to the Rickards Key Club who came out in full force to volunteer from set-up to clean-up; and to all other volunteers, we sincerely thank you!

We would like to extend a special thank you to our premiere sponsor, Texas Roadhouse; Platinum Sponsor, Humana Healthy Horizons; and Gold Sponsors: American Commerce Bank and NAMI Tallahassee. Silver Sponsor: Consulting Together Community Outreach; and Festival Level Sponsors: The CLEO Institute and Tallahassee Community Action Committee. Your partnerships truly made a difference again this year difference.

A highlight of the day was our Community Conversations: Youth and Adults Bridging Generations Navigating Health, Wellness & Community Together! panel, moderated by Royle King, and featuring dynamic teens Haasini Yelugoti and Vikram Rhodes; and adult advocates, DC Maurice Holmes, Sandra Horne and Doris Strong; who came together to discuss critical topics like mental health, crime prevention, and community safety. We are grateful to each of you for participating in this enriching discussion.

We also want to recognize the amazing musical performances from award-winning Gospel vocalist Anita Franklin, and the phenomenal Alijah Jones & Company; and Virtuous Praise for her dance performance. Your talents brought an uplifting and joyous energy to the event.

The weather was beautiful, and even with many other community events happening on the same day, we are truly appreciative of your presence and support. This “community” event was a testament to the blending of “com” (with) and “unity” (togetherness and connectedness). Our “community” truly came together in unity in the heart of Frenchtown, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Most importantly, we thank our community neighbors for coming out and joining us. It was an honor to connect with you, and we look forward to continuing this tradition of fostering unity, wellness, and collaboration.

Thank you again for being a vital part of this event’s success!

With warm regards,
DRMI Board of Directors & Founders
