DRMI’s community events connect neighbors with practical resources, local organizations, small businesses, cultural experiences, and one another. The annual Street Corner Giveaway continues the organization’s original tradition of meeting immediate needs through direct outreach.
The Frenchtown Renaissance is a recurring cultural-history initiative and celebration—not simply a resource fair. It centers local history, storytelling, senior oral histories, youth-led digital heritage work, art, music, cultural vendors, and recognition of Frenchtown’s historic African American legacy.
